Professional Biography
Daryl Hansen is currently a PhD student in Cognitive Science at Indiana University. Daryl received his B.S. in Computer Science and B.A. in Arts and Technology from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2010. During his undergraduate studies, he did research in mobile graphics under Dr. Xiaohu Guo. This research also included collaboration with Texas Instruments.
In addition to his research, he also co-founded a mobile video game development company, 5 Minute Games Inc., through the UTDallas’s Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
His research interests include human robot interactions, social robotics, and artificial intelligence. The focus of his PhD will be on human-robot collaboration.
